TUXEDO Control Center (TCC) is a free, open-source, and user-friendly tool developed by TUXEDOComputers to help their clients control and configure their TUXEDO notebooks (It is installable on non-TUXEDO hardware, but some of its features may not work).
TUXEDOComputers do not officially support Fedora Linux. However, you can install their control center app on your Fedora with just a few command lines (Thanks to Kallepm).

To Install TCC on Fedora, you need first to install the tuxedo-keyboard package:
  • Open a terminal window and run the following command lines:
sudo dnf install kernel-devel
sudo dnf copr enable kallepm/tuxedo-keyboard (this will add the package repository created by kallepm and provided by Fedora COPR)
sudo dnf install tuxedo-keyboard{codeBox}

Now, you are a few command lines away from installing TCC on your Fedora Linux (I hope you did not close the terminal window):
  • Enable the TCC COPR repository:
sudo dnf copr enable kallepm/tuxedo-control-center{codeBox}
  • Install TCC package:
sudo dnf install tuxedo-control-center{codeBox}
  • Reboot:
sudo reboot{codeBox}

And voila, you just installed the TUXEDO Control Center on Fedora Linux.

What do you think of TCC? What are your suggestions to improve it?

  1. I just wish it wouldn't delete itself every time I did a system update. This last time I haven't been able to bring it back. I like the app but I just don't care anymore.

    1. Sorry for that. I hope Fedora will be officially supported soon. Can I help you reinstall it?
